Riverhill recognizes technology as an important part of our rapidly changing world. Students, parents, and staff have internet access at every computer in the school through wired and wireless technology. The campus network is protected by a state-of-the-art firewall with advanced filtering capabilities. The use of technology is also integrated into the curriculum. Each class is equipped with an interactive whiteboard and document camera. Through weekly lab sessions, which begin in PreK-3, our students gain a thorough understanding of computers and their potential. PreK-3 through Kindergarten students have classroom sets of LeapPads®. Kindergarten and First Grade students have classroom sets of LeapReader®s. PreK-4 through Third Grade students have classroom sets of iPads®. Fourth Grade through Sixth Grade students have individually assigned iPads®. Our older students also have access to MacBooks®. In addition, the Riverhill community uses RenWeb to communicate school information and student grade reports in a private secure manner.
